Membership Intern (unpaid)


The Membership Intern will be tasked with helping grow our membership base and improve our membership benefits – working with marketing and communications, and development. You’ll have a chance to interact with the senior leadership team and learn key skills in developing a product (our membership) and managing relationships (with our members). The role will report to the Membership Manager and be a key member of the membership team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Help develop all marketing collateral and campaigns for membership– online and offline
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine how to improve our membership benefits and what new benefits to create, including regular acquisition and retention metrics
  • Ensure quality of member data
  • Contribute to the develop of new programs that support our membership value proposition
Required Qualifications
  • Strong writing and verbal skills
  • Demonstrated analysis and research skills, quantitative and qualitative
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven multi-tasker who is flexible and comfortable in a fast paced environment
  • Computer-proficiency, particularly Excel
  • HTML and other web experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and creatively
  • Interest and commitment to nonprofit management and the Chamber mission
